This track holds something interesting to us, as it was one of songs that most stood out on the debut. We choose this song for auditions, and seeing how Jay nailed it, we knew we had to bring it back again with vocals. This song was written in maybe three hours on a spring night in 2015, and I had no idea it would actually be used for something bigger. -Andrew
lyrics
Why do we stop short of success on purpose?
The over bearing thought of it all is what blinds us.
Rendering the fear of failure as a crutch to rest the weight of our conscience upon
The paths are winding, but the right road is what's less traveled on.
They can smell fear.
The wolves are feeding on your desperation to be whole.
The clock is ticking.
But, the answer is to play your true role.
If you test the winds, you can finally see.
Take the journey into the great unknown and find your place in this broken world.
Prepare yourself to live in brighter days and cast the fear away.
Repeat. X3
Repeat the same routine.
The time has come.
Control your destiny.
Your only regret is not taking the time.
Afraid to make a mistake
Now you hold the key to free your mind.
From uncertainty, you can escape.
Your only regret is not taking the time.
Afraid to make a mistake
Venture off into the blinding light.
It's up to you to control your fate.
The universe is a scary place.
But, until you break the boundaries, you will never know where you stand.
We treat life so delicately.
But do we truly know what it means to be alive?
Break the boundaries.
Move.
Your only regret is not taking the time.
Afraid to make a mistake
Now you hold the key to free your mind.
From uncertainty, you can escape.
Your only regret is not taking the time.
Afraid to make a mistake
Venture off into the blinding light.
It's up to you to control your fate.

One of the best modern prog metal groups out there... Even their freshmen years were absolutely fantastic... Great EP... One of the only bands I'm truly saddened by, knowing I don't have their music on vinyl... "hint, hint" enemyofthenight
